Nintendo just introduced the new NSO Expansion Pass last week and now it's even more useful with the inclusion of the new Happy Home Paradise DLC for Animal Crossing New Horizons.
Animal Crossing New Horizons is getting a lot of new content between the new 2.0 update and the paid Happy Home Paradise update.
The good news is that you can save some money with the NSO Expansion Pass and we're going to tell you just how you can get your hands right on the new paid Happy Home Paradise DLC.

What Do You Need To Get Happy Home Paradise DLC With NSO?
Coming a number of months after the launch of the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Online became the online service offered for the platform that required a subscription fee.
For a yearly cost of $19.99, you could get a collection of Nintendo and SNES games, as well as special games like Tetris 99 and for a limited time Super Mario Bros. 35.
With the addition of Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis games into the mix though, there was bound to be a price increase, which happened by offering what is known as the Expansion Pass for NSO.
Beyond the base $19.99 cost, you can pay $30 additionally to get the Expansion Pass as well per year. There is also a family plan in addition that costs more, but lets multiple people share it.
Not only does the Expansion Pass come with Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis games though, but also the new Animal Crossing New Horizons Happy Home Paradise DLC.
How To Download Happy Home Paradise DLC From NSO Expansion Pass
Step one here is of course going to be to sign up for the NSO Expansion Pass if you want to get the DLC for free. After signing up though, you will still have to download the DLC.
To do this, go to the home dashboard on your Nintendo Switch and go to the bottom row of icons to the Nintendo Switch Online icon itself that should be on the very left side and red.
Click this icon and select your profile to then bring up a new screen. On here, scroll down the list to the Expansion Pass option and select it.
Now the screen will move over to three icons, with you obviously wanting to select the middle one for the Animal Crossing New Horizons Happy Home Paradise DLC. Select it and then go down and select Details underneath it inside the box.
This will now bring up a screen like from the eShop where you should be able to select Download. Do this and it will start to download on the home screen.
If you already have the game open, make sure to close it out and wait for the update to finish. Once it is done, open up the game and you'll now have access to the new Happy Home Paradise DLC in Animal Crossing New Horizons thanks to your NSO Expansion Pass subscription.
