Here is how to enter the Underground Mines in The Chasm in Genshin Impact 2.6, in order to complete the new Requiem of the Echoing Depths Archon Quest with Dainsleif.

Genshin Impact 2.6 is finally out, and this is one of the most awaited update ever as it finally added Kamisato Ayato as a playable character and the Chasm as a playable area. And while you can easily go to the Chasm, you'll need to complete specific requirements to enter the special Underground Mines area. However, you can directly accept the Requiem of the Echoing Depths Archon Quest even if you haven't unlocked this area yet, even though it's where the quest is taking place, making things a bit complicated. Anyways, here's how to unlock Underground Mines.

How to enter the Underground Mines in Genshin Impact

To enter the Underground Mines area, players need to trigger and complete the Surreptitious Seven-Star Seal Sundering, which is part of the Chasm Delvers world quest. To complete this quest, you will need to find and destroy the Bedrock Keys. All the Bedrock Keys will be indicated on your map in-game, however, one of them is hard to locate as it's underground. Be sure to check our dedicated guide to handle it.

Once you've completed these steps, the seal on the Chasm will break, and you can either glide inside or use the lift that will be displayed on your map to enter the Underground Mines. There, you'll be able to complete the Dainsleif Archon quest. However, you might want to get and display the map of the area first.

How to display the map of the area

Similarly to Enkanomiya, Underground Mines is a separate map, and there is no Statue of the Seven inside it, so you can't just activate the Statue to display the map. Keep progressing in the Chasm Delvers quest until you reach the exploration team's camp. Everything is indicated in-game on the radar and you don't need any advice in particular. Once you've reached that point and spoke to Jinwu there, you will unlock part of the map. Keep progressing in the Chasm Delvers quest to fully display the map.

Genshin Impact developer HoYoverse has also published the official interactive map for Underground Mines, with everything you need to be displayed. Personally speaking, I find the endgame battle system of Genshin to be uninteresting since it's all DPS checks. I primarily play the game for the exploration gameplay and the story. So I'd rather discover the area by myself. I'll only take a look at the official map once I'm done exploring most of the area.
