How To Evolve Tangela to Tangrowth In Pokemon Legends: Arceus

Many of the Pokemon in Pokemon Legends: Arceus can simply be evolved by trading them with a friend, as this automatically begins the evolution process. However, there are a select few Pokemon that must follow a more specific process to evolve them, Tangela is one of the few Pokemon that requires certain steps to be taken before they can be evolved into Tangrowth.

To begin, you'll need to head out and directly capture a Tangela, which can be found at the following locations:

  • Crimson Mirelands: Gapejaw Bog
  • Cobalt Coastlands: Crossing Slope

Or you could of course obtain a Tangela by trading with a friend. Regardless, once you've got your hands on one you will need to level the Tangela up to level 24, at this point, it will learn the move 'Ancient Power'. Once this move has been learnt by Tangela, levelling it up will evolve it into Tangrowth.

It's important to remember that both Tangela and Tangrowth are grass-type Pokemon, which means they will take more damage than normal from Flying, Poison, Bug, Fire, and Ice-type moves from other Pokemon. But will also take less damage from Ground, Water, Grass, and Electric-type moves.
