Minecraft fans have plenty to look forward to in the next few days as the Caves and Cliffs Update Part 2 is all set to release soon.

Over the past decade, Minecraft has been one of the most popular sandbox games out there, and it has grown several folds in the last few months. The developers have some big plans in the coming days, with the release of Caves and Cliffs and some more exciting updates in the near future.

The second part of the Caves and Cliffs is finally here, and some interesting biomes are making their way into the game. These include Lofty Peaks, Snowcapped Peaks, and Stony Peaks. Here is all you need to know about it.

What are Lofty Peaks?

Lofty Peaks are a variation of the Snowcapped peaks and rely on the temperature. If the surrounding biomes are comparatively warmer, Lofty Peaks will be the ones you see on top of the mountains. Additionally, if the mountain is not high enough, to begin with, you will not see either Lofty or Snowcapped Peaks. Lofty Peaks don't have goats or snow powder.

What are Snowcapped Peaks?

In even colder areas, you will get Snowcapped Peaks. These are some of the best-looking biomes in the game, and players are actively looking for them because of the presence of ice. Again, it won't spawn if the mountain isn't high enough.

What are Stony Peaks and where to find them?

Stony Peaks are the biomes that spawn at places that have a warm temperature. These include savannahs and jungles, and you wouldn't find any kind of snow around them. You will find them at the top of the mountains, at locations where snow isn't feasible.
