FFXIV Endwalker is now live in Early Access, but some players still struggling with error 3001 when attempting to join a world.

After much anticipation, Square Enix eventually delivered FFXIV Endwalker a few days earlier in the Early Access phase, but it seems like the number of players who are eager to jump into the new expansion is too huge that the servers cannot operate smoothly.

On the launch day, many players encountered error 2002, and today error 3001 seems to prevent players from having fun in Endwalker. But how can you get rid of this issue? Is there any official fix for this? Well, let's find out!

How to Fix FFXIV Endwalker Error 3001

Similar to error 2002, error 3001 also seems to be an issue with the server-side rather than the user-end. As referred by the community, it seems like this error happens when a big number of players request to join a server/world.

So, the first option for you to get rid of the issue is to try different worlds for your playthrough. If it doesn't work, try switching the data centers several times as it apparently had solved the issue once in the past expansion's launch.

According to some players who have more than one character, the issue only happens to one of their characters rather than both. Also, some players have reported that when they create a new character they don't get the error when attempting to join a world.

FFXIV Endwalker is now available on PS4, PS5, and PC in the Early Access phase. The expansion will be fully available for all players on December 7. Keep in mind that this is a paid expansion for Final Fantasy XIV.
