August's Pokemon GO Community Day is here and focuses on one of the most popular Pokemon in the entire series - Eevee.

Eevee becomes the second Pokemon, behind Charmander, to feature as the Community Day pick more than once.

There is a major difference with Eevee, however, and that's the fact that it has eight different evolutions, many of which require different techniques.

With some of those techniques changing, here's how to get all Eevee evolutions in the Pokemon GO August Community Day.

How to Get Vaporeon, Jolteon and Flareon During Community Day

Unfortunately, these three Eeveelutions remain entirely random.

Unlike some of the others, Niantic hasn't changed the evolution method for these three and it's simply a case of having 25 Eevee Candies, hitting the evolve button and hoping for the best.

The only other option relies on players not having used the naming trick, which is highly unlikely as it was discovered over five years ago.

However, for those who haven't, used the trick yet, it's simple. Naming your Eevee either Pyro, Sparky or Rainer and then evolving it will cause it to evolve into either Flareon, Jolteon or Vaporeon respectively.

Just remember, this is a one-time use deal, so use it wisely.

How to Get Umbreon and Espeon During Community Day

Umbreon and Espeon are the first two Eeveelutions to have their evolution method changed.

Usually, players would have to walk 10km with Eevee as their buddy, before evolving it during the day for Espeon or at night for Umbreon.

Thankfully, due to the time-limited nature of Pokemon GO Community Days, Niantic has realised that expecting players to walk 10km multiple times during the event is unrealistic. They've therefore ensured that the walking requirement has been removed and instead, players just need to set Eevee as a buddy and evolve it during the day or night, depending on which evolution they want.

Like Flareon, Jolteon and Vaporeon, Umbreon and Espeon also have a single-use naming trick. Evolve an Eevee named Tamao or Sakura to get Umbreon or Espeon.

How to Get Glaceon and Leafeon During Community Day

Eevee's Leaf and Ice-type evolutions both have their standard methods of evolutions during the event.

Players will need to use a Mossy Lure Module on a Pokestop and evolve Eevee within the radius to get a Leafeon or repeat the trick with a Glacial Lure Module to get a Glaceon.

While these items do cost, Niantic has confirmed that there will be some Research during Community Day that "rewards a Mossy Lure Module and a Glacial Lure Module."

Leafeon and Glaceon's naming trick is Linnea (Leafeon) or Rea (Glaceon).

How to Get Sylveon During Community Day

Sylveon is arguably going to be the most popular Eevee evolution this Community Day.

While its power and performance in the meta is one reason, Sylveon has also been made a lot easier to get over the course of the weekend.

Rather than earning the usual 70 hearts with Eevee as a buddy in order to get Sylveon, they'll only need 10% of that, with 7 hearts being enough for Sylveon.

For those who have yet to do it, Kira is the name for Sylveon's naming trick.
