We have already seen a number of gameplay trailers from Horizon Forbidden West before its launch, but this game is just massive, and you won't get to witness its beauty until you play it yourself.

In such a huge world, traveling from one point to another on foot could be extremely time-consuming. While you can use mounts to boost your travel speed, nothing could be as quick as flying over the lands!

How to Get Flying Mounts in Horizon Forbidden West

While flying mounts are already available in the game from the beginning, you won't be able to tame them until the "Wings of the Ten" quest. This is a quest that you will come across almost at the end of the game, which means flying mounts won't be available for Aloy until the endgame.

That being said, once you finish the final quests, you will be able to freely use flying mounts and travel quickly from one location to another. You can even summon a flying mount at the endgame, no matter where you are.

While flying mounts won't help you out with the majority of main quests, they will come in handy when you attempt to finish side quests after the main story is finished.

Horizon Forbidden West is now available for PS4 and PS5.
