How to get froggy chair in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Can't wait to get the iconic Froggy chair? Here's where you can grab it

November 4, 2021

If you have missed the infamous Froggy chair, it’s back and here’s how you can get your hands on it, at last, in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

If you’re not an Animal Crossing fan, you may be wondering what all the fuss is about regarding some green chair? The Froggy chair is an iconic piece of AC furniture that dates all the way back to the original game and has been in Animal Crossing: Wild WorldCity Folk, and New Leaf.

Many people will probably recognise it also when it did the rounds on social media in late 2019 that included the Chair with a price of 1,440 bells, with the MCU’s Thanos underneath, saying, “A small price to pay for froggy chair.” – a twist on Thanos’ quote, “a small price to pay for salvation.”

Thankfully, during the Animal Crossing Direct show, the froggy chair was spotted and stole the show which means it’s now back to the joy of fans. With the game’s big final 2.0 update on November 5, along with some paid interior design-based DLC Happy Home Paradise, here’s how you can get the wonderful Froggy chair for yourself.

How to get the Froggy Chair in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Players can pick up the iconic green froggy chair for their home when the 2.0 update comes out from Tom Nook’s store for 1,400 bells, at least that’s what it cost previously. Players can even sit on the adorable little chair which makes it all worthwhile.

What’s also interesting is that players will be able to change the colour of Froggy Chair this time if green just doesn’t suit your home’s interior.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons 2.0 update should be releasing 6 pm PT/9 pm EST on November 5.
