Finally! After what seems like an eternity, players can now get their hands on Eevee's Fairy-type evolution, Sylveon, in Pokemon GO.

The Intertwining Pokemon has been one of the most heavily requested over the past few years and thanks to some solid teamwork, is now available in the game.

Unlike most Pokemon who get released into Pokemon GO, Sylveon is launching alongside its shiny form.

Here's how you can get yourself a Shiny Sylveon in Pokemon GO.

What Does Shiny Sylveon Look Like in Pokemon GO?

Shiny Sylveon is definitely one of the best looking Shiny Eeveelutions.

Players will be used to seeing Sylveon adorned in a range of pink colours, however, they are replaced by a baby blue, accentuated further with the pinks we have become accustomed to.

It's even got a little blue bowtie and socks now!

You can see Sylveon's shiny form from Sword and Shield below.

How To Get One In Pokemon GO?

Thankfully, it's potentially not as difficult to nab yourself a Shiny Sylveon in Pokemon GO as it is many other Shiny Pokemon. Provided you've been patient.

To get a Shiny Sylveon, you'll first need a Shiny Eevee. This is great as Eevee was featured in a two-day Community Weekend a couple of years back and was available in abundance.

Anybody who planned in advance will have a Shiny Eevee prepared for this situation.

There are two ways to get a Sylveon in Pokemon GO:

  • Reaching 70 Hearts with Eevee as a buddy
  • Naming Eevee Kira and Evolving (single use)

This then extends to Shiny Eevee/Shiny Sylveon.

Should you not have a Shiny Eevee, then it's time to grind. Be sure to click on every Eevee you see or try trading with a friend who has a spare.
