Genshin Impact's latest update has added an all-new fishing system in the game, opening up tons of things to do for players out there.

Genshin Impact's 2.1 update is one of the biggest updates in the history of the franchise, adding some significant stuff to the game. Be it the addition of new characters, to new regions, there is plenty of stuff to do in the game.

This update will also be coinciding with the first anniversary of the game, and miHoYo has been planning some interesting stuff to celebrate it. While we know that fans will be getting 23 pulls as rewards, something the community is unhappy with, there will be more rewards announced later down the line.

How to get The Catch Polearm in Genshin Impact

The Catch is an all-new Polearm that has been added to Genshin Impact. To obtain the Catch in Genshin Impact, players need to travel to Byakko Plains near Inazuma City. You will find an NPC near the water, who is a part of the Inazuma Fishing Association, and you need to interact with it. The Catch can be bought from the NPC itself.

To buy The Catch, you will need to exchange it for a few fish. In total, you need 6x Raimei Angelfish, 20x Golden Koi, and 20x Rusty Koi. You need to get your first fishing rod and bait to be able to catch the fish. You can learn more about them in our guide here.
