Poffins were originally introduced in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl back in the day and naturally they play a part in the new Pokemon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl, but you're going to need a Poffin Case if you're going to want to make your own.

These are a special type of item that you can acquire in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl that can help improve your Pokemon in certain categories for Pokemon Super Contests.

You can't just create your own Poffins without having somewhere to store them though, which is why you will need to find a Poffin Case in Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl.

Where To Get Poffin Case In Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl

The Poffin Case in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl is not something you're going to be getting right away. In fact, it's going to take you going through multiple towns and cities to get it.

To get the Poffin Case, you're first going to have to play through the game and work your way to Hearthome City. You'll need to get the first two gym badges to make it this far as well.

Once you get to Hearthome City, you will soon realize this town is very Contest centric, which is why we need to get a Poffin Case.

When you get to the middle of town and are taken to the Contest Hall, you'll be told that you need a Poffin Case for certain things, which would make you think it would be available somewhere in there. However, we need to go elsewhere instead.

Leave the Contest Hall and find the PokeMart in town and look right beside it for a sign saying it's the Pokemon Fan Club. If you're a fan of the original games, you know going into the Pokemon Fan Club and taking to the old man will usually get you something in return.

As a result, that is exactly what you want to do here, so go inside and do exactly that. By talking to him, he will reward you with the Poffin Case that you are looking for in Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl.

Where Can You make Poffins?

Now that you have a Poffin Case, you can make your own Poffins in one of two areas, both of which are located in Hearthome City.

The first of these is in the place you'd assume, known as the Poffin House. Go inside the building and you'll see a pot that you can use to cook your own Poffins.

Besides the Poffin House, the other location is in Amity Square Park. While walking around, you can find the same type of pot as in the Poffin House to use and make your own.
