The latest Tome was released in Dead By Daylight yesterday. Crescendo is the Tome associated with the ninth rift in Dead By Daylight. There are some interesting challenges making their way into the game along with the latest Tome, and there is a Glyph challenge as well. In Tome IX, we have Purple Glyphs arriving in the game. Here is all you need to know about it.

How to get the Purple Glyph in Dead By Daylight

The latest Glyph challenge in Dead by Daylight requires players to interact with the Purple Glyph. Once they do so, they will get the following rewards.

  • 1x Rift Fragment
  • 25,000 Bloodpoints

While players are quite curious to complete the latest Glyph challenge, many are not able to find the Purple Glyph in the first place. In fact, many players think that the Purple Glyph spawns at specific timings or there is some sort of bug.

However, that is not the case. The reason why players are not able to find the Purple Glyph is that it is only available for Killers. So if you are playing as a survivor you will not be able to get the Purple Glyph. This is not mentioned in the game, so it is causing widespread confusion.

When it comes to the Purple Glyph, it is a bit different from other Glyphs in one more respect as well. Unlike other Glyphs, the Purple Glyph keeps moving and you need to follow it.

When you are playing as a killer and hook a survivor you will see a Purple Glyph spawning for around three seconds. After that, it will move and you will have to find it. Well, the good news is that it leaves a trail which you can easily follow to locate it. Once you find it, interact with it to complete the challenge.
