Call of Duty: Vanguard is set to take the Zombies experience to another level, with plenty of new features to discover such as the Altar of Covenants and the Sacrificial Heart.

What Is The 'Sacrificial Heart' In Vanguard Zombies?
The 'Sacrificial Heart' is a new loot item in Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies and is related to the new Altar of Covenants upgrades. In short, players must obtain the Sacrificial Heart item and then spend it at the new Altar of Covenants to unlock new upgrades.
Players must successfully complete an objective to use the Sacrificial Heart at the Altar of Covenants, but how exactly do you get your hands on this new item?

How To Get The Sacrificial Heart
Getting your hands on the Sacrificial Heart is actually very simple, all you need to do is head through one of the portals in the starting area and complete the objective. You'll then be teleported back to the starting zone next to the Altar of Covenant and you will have been granted one Sacrificial Heart for completing the objective.
You can tell how many sacrificial hearts you have accumulated by looking at the bottom left-hand corner of your screen, next to your health indicator. You can then trade these hearts at the altar of covenants for in-game abilities, but you can only have 3 active at one time.
