However, sometimes reaching a new campaign location needs huge exploration on its own. Mountaintops of the Giants is one of the late-game locations in Elden Ring, and getting there, requires a long journey in the Lands Between.
How to Get to Mountaintops of the Giants in Elden Ring
Mountaintops of the Giants has two parts, and each part needs a different Medallion. For the eastern part of the region, which is the main area, you will need Rold Medallion, which can be obtained by speaking to Melina after defeating Morgott, The Omen King in Royal Capital.
Once you get the medallion, you should reach the Grand Lift of Rold, which is a long way to go. The location marked with a red circle on the image below showcases where the Grand Lift of Rold is located. Also, the red line shows the path from the Grand Lift of Dectus.

On your way towards this place, you will encounter a Kindred boss, but you can just escape and avoid fighting. Once you are in Grand Lift of Rold, you will find two big statues of guardians each holding a spear. Just in front of them, there is a big circle on the ground. Stand inside the circle, and then you will be asked to Hoist your medallion. Do it, and you will reach the Mountaintops of the Giant.
