The integration reset the season number back to one, and we are having the first midseason update of the new season. This update is making a plethora of changes, and like usual we are seeing a number of weapons nerfs, buffs, bug fixes, and a lot more. While the update was slated to come out a little later, Vanguard received it a bit early and it is already live for the game. Players can access it by simply updating their game.

How to Get Welgun SMG in Warzone & Vanguard

One of the major additions in the new update that has grabbed the attention of fans is the addition of an all-new gun, the Welgun SMG. To be able to get the gun, players need to complete a challenge. Here is what they need to do to get the Welgun.

  • Get 10 kills with an SMG while aiming down sights in a single match 15 times.

Once the challenge is completed, they will be able to get the gun in Vanguard and it will automatically sync across to Warzone as well, so you can use the gun at both places.

The developers speak highly of the gun, stating that “Whether it is used with its standard ammo in Extra Extended Magazines, which doubles its round count per magazine, or a 48 Round Drum of .380 ammo, close-quarters specialists can make it work in their standard Warzone Pacific or Vanguard Multiplayer Loadouts, especially in large squads or higher-intensity modes.”
