How to Invite Friends In Dying Light 2 & Play Coop

To invite your friends to Dying Light 2, you first need to hop into the game. After that, head to the Pause Menu by pressing Esc key on the keyboard, or the respect option on your console controller. You will see a number of options on the Pause Menu, and you need to select the Online Menu option. You will see Online Options under it, and there are multiple settings under it. Here is each of them explained.

  • Game Type- Allows you to change your party's privacy settings
    • Single Player- Play the game in single player mode only
    • Public- Anyone can join your party
    • Private- Only players who you give access to can join
    • Friends Only- Only Friends can join
  • Call for Help- Allows you to look for other sessions using Call for Help feature
  • Voice Chat- Allows you to enable or disable voice chat

Now if you are on single-player mode, others won't be able to join so you need to ensure that that setting is configured properly. After that, head back to the online menu and click on the Friends tab. You will see a list of your friends who are in the game, and you can invite them to your game by clicking on their names. You can also add them to favorites to make them easier to find.
