The unique outfit comes into play within NBA 2K22 in a quest known as "You Gotta Start Somewhere: See and Be Seen." This is given by your manager and best friend Ricky in your apartment, who is starting to build your brand.

This quest tells you to "Put on a unique outfit," which may certainly confuse you at first and likely lead to you opening up the clothing menu.

While you may have plenty of clothes to choose from here, it's likely you don't have the type of unique outfit that the quest is asking for here. That is because what you need are clothes related to your Affiliation in the game.

What Is An Affiliation And How To Get Their Outfits?

There are four Ain NBA 2K22 yet again, which are teams that you are assigned to and can level up your Player Rep and more within them. If you get assigned one you don't like though, you can thankfully change Affiliations.

To get the right kind of unique outfit in NBA 2K22, you need to head to the corner of the map with your personal Affiliation and head to their store. From there, just feel free to buy any of the outfits you want in here, whether you want to go cheap or extravagant.

Once you have purchased the clothing, go to your menu and put it on your MyPlayer and you will complete the quest.
