Exoprimal received an extended gameplay trailer today at Capcom Showcase, detailing the story of the game as well as introducing a limited-time closed network test which will go live next month!
Earlier this year, Exoprimal was announced as a brand new multiplayer team-based PvE action shooter from Capcom during a State of Play event.
While we didn’t expect to see anything new from Exoprimal anytime soon, Capcom revealed a detailed look at the gameplay of the game during today’s showcase, revealing more about its story as well as the available game modes.

Exoprimal is about a cutting-edge AI system that traps the heroes of the game inside loops of dinosaur invasion into the earth. Now, if you ask why is it happening, that’s the part of the story that you should find out yourself by playing the campaign mode.
However, that’s not all for Exoprimal as the game will feature two other modes that will bring a rivalry between two different player squads in PvE fights. The trailer above will give you a better understanding of different game modes in Exoprimal.
Although Exoprimal is slated to launch in 2023, you can sign up for the closed network test sessions of the game right now, which are supposed to go in July and August 2022.
The only thing you need to do for signing up is to visit this page and register for the closed network test access. If the developers accept your request, you will receive an email containing the details on how to play the game when the test session starts.
Keep in mind that the closed network test will only be available for PC players through Steam. Also, the first session on July 10 will be exclusive to US residents, but the next two sessions on July 25 and August 7 will be available for all gamers across the globe.
Exoprimal will be available in 2023 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC.
