Here is how you can unlock the new Lost Valley Domain in Genshin Impact 2.6, in order to farm the Vermillion Hereafter, Echoes of an Offering Artifacts, and try out new builds with Ayato and characters that have Skills or Talents scaling with ATK%.

Genshin Impact 2.6 is out now, and this means the Chasm has finally been added to the game. Those who cared about Genshin before its release and an exponential increase in popularity remember how iconic the Chasm is. That area was tagged on the map and yet inaccessible, taunting us. We can finally go there now two years later, and it's been incredible to explore so far. In particular, the area has a brand new Artifacts Domain, the Lost Valley, but you'll need to solve a small puzzle to unlock it first.

How to Unlock the Lost Valley Domain in Genshin Impact 2.6

First, you should get to Fuao Vale in the Chasm, see the location shown on the map screenshot below. That's the entrance to a cave where the Lost Valley Domain is located, and we'll need to break the seal on that cavern. To do so, we need to use the meteorites / E Skill with the Geo Traveler. So before following the steps below, be sure to put the Traveler in your party, and go to the Statue of the Seven to change their element to Geo.

How to Destroy the Barrier

  • First, put a Geo meteorite near the small patch of white flowers near the ancient stone tablet.
  • Next, you must place a second Geo meteorite on the second patch of white flowers slightly behind the first.
  • Lastly, run up all the way to the third mineral behind and place a Geo meteorite at the top.

The resonance between the Geo construct will run through the minerals and your meteorites, breaking the barrier blocking the cave and the Lost Valley Domain. I've recorded myself opening up the cavern in the gameplay video below, check it out.
