The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition is set to release on November 11, 2021 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Look for it on your console’s digital stores to download. It’ll be available as a separate game in your library unless you already own Skyrim Special Edition (2016).

If you’re buying the full game on its own, it’ll cost USD $49.99/EUR €54.99/GBP £47.99/AUD $79.95/RUB 3399. Though, if you already own Skyrim Special Edition (2016), the new content will be available as a downloadable upgrade for USD $19.99/EUR €19.99/GBP £15.99/AUD $29.95/RUB 1429.

You will also get a free patch for Skyrim Special Edition or Anniversary Edition on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S systems. This next-gen upgrade will improve the game with better graphics, optimized loading times, and more. So, beyond the additional content, this new re-release will be truly transformative.

Additionally, physical copies of the Anniversary Edition will be available for PS4 and Xbox One systems. Prices and availability will vary, and internet access is required to redeem and download the additional Creation Club packs.

And, even if you don’t choose to upgrade, you’ll still get four free Creation Club modes for Special Edition. These modes include Fishing, Survival Mode, Rare Curios, and Saints and Seducers. All in all, the new edition is going to improve upon and modernize Skyrim‘s RPG format into an even bigger and better world.
