How To Upgrade Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection and Transfer Saves

The adventure continues!

January 27, 2022

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy will both be getting the next-gen treatment this week in the form of Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection. Thankfully, a cheap upgrade option is available.

Fans won’t be able to upgrade their existing copies of Uncharted 4 and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy for free, but you also won’t be required to pay full price if you already own the PlayStation 4 versions. Alongside this, Naughty Dog has also confirmed that players will be able to transfer their existing progress when upgrading.

How To Upgrade Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection

Players won’t be able to upgrade from the PS4 version until the next-gen release tomorrow (Friday, January 28th). Once the new version is released, users simply need to head to the PlayStation Store Page and if you already own one of the existing titles in the collection, the price for the game should be $10 USD or £10 GBP.

It’s important to note that you must have purchased at least one of the titles included in the collection. If you have the PS Plus version of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, which was previously given away for free, you won’t be eligible for the cheap upgrade option.

More details on upgrading to the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection can be found on the official PlayStation Blog.
