With Far Cry 6 releasing today, here is all you need to know about the multiplayer aspects of the game.

How to use Coop and play with friends in Far Cry 6

Well for those who are wondering whether Far Cry 6 will be featuring coop and multiplayer or not, there is both good news and bad news. The good news is that Far Cry 6 does indeed feature coop. However, when it comes to multiplayer, there is no such mode as such in the game.

So how do you get started with coop? Well, just like the previous installments in the franchise, you won't be able to get started with coop straightaway. You need to play the prologue and a few more missions to be able to unlock coop.

Once you finish the Du or Die in Isla Santuario, you will be able to get access to the coop elements in the game and can launch it from the main menu. You can join your friends by clicking on the friend icon in the top right.

Does your progress carry over in coop?

No! The progress gets saved only for those. However, inventory and guerilla experience will carry over if you are playing in coop. You can complete the entire game in coop, and you don't need to worry about losing your own progress as well.
