To use the New Zealand/Australia Trick, first of all, you need to make sure that you own the title on your account. You can pre-order directly from Nintendo eShop, or just buy it from any other third-party retailer, as per your preference. Once you have the game key redeemed on your account, you can proceed with the next steps. Here is how to change your region and play it early.

• Go to the Nintendo Account page and login with your account. Make sure you are usign the same account with Arceus redeemed.
• After succesfully logging in, click on Edit beside the Profile section to edit your profile settings.
• Under Country/region of residence, you need to choose either Australia or New Zealand.
• The Time Zone should automatically change, if it doesn't, make sure you are using the correct time zone.
• Click on Save Changes.
• Now you need to start your Nintendo Switch and you will see that you have been logged out of your account.
• Log back in with your credentials and start the download of Arceus, if you haven't preloaded it already.
• The game should be available to play immediately.
