HTC Promises No More Delays on Vive Shipments

June 8, 2016

HTC announced today that all future HTC Vive units ordered from their website will be delivered in two to three business days.

“There are a few feelings you can expect when you click the order button for your Vive—irrational excitement (well, we would actually call that level of excitement completely rational), anticipation, curiosity. What we do not want you feeling is uncertainty over when your Vive will be shipped. So, as of June 7th, all Vive systems purchased on www.vive.com will ship within 2-3 business days of purchase.”

Early adopters of the HTC Vive ran into multiple delays with the shipping of the device, with some people who pre-ordered still not getting what they paid for.

They also announced that any pre-orders made at at Microsoft Stores, GameStop, and Micro Center Locations will start being fulfilled this week.

The HTC Vive is out now, and has over 200 compatible games on Steam.
