Addressing recent rumors of a Vive 2 being premiered at CES in Las Vegas, HTC has confirmed there will be no such product at the convention. Speaking to UplaodVR, HTC stated,

There is no truth to the rumor of launching Vive 2 at CES 2017. At Vive, we are laser focused on building out a strong and growing ecosystem for current and future Vive owners so they can experience the best room-scale VR with the most compelling content available.

Rumors originally came from Digitimes, citing Taipei-based Central News Agency, who reported that HTC was expected to reveal an HTC Vive 2 headset at CES 2017. The original HTC Vive was unveiled in March of 2015 and released to the market on April 4, 2016.
