Last month, following the murder of George Floyd, protests sparked worldwide with the Black Lives Matter movement still going strong to this day as protests continue in America. Humble Bundle last week joined in with fundraising efforts to help support three different charities.

The bundle, titled The Fight for Racial Justice Bundle has been available to purchase since last week and comes packed with over $1,200 worth of games, comics, and books. The bundle has now closed, and the final figure sits at £3,510,957.19 — Yes, in British currency. The number of sales came in at 134,073 sold. The proceeds from the bundle's sales are to be split between three charities; NAACP Legal Defense Fund, Race Forward, and The Bail Project.

The Humble Bundle Fight for Racial Justice Bundle went on sale shortly after Itch.io's bundle ended. Itch.io was offering over 1,741 items for as little as $5. It raised over $8m with proceeds going to charity.

The Black Lives Matter movement has been heard globally and has seen companies across the gaming industry promise to do better, such as EA outlining new policies as well as donating, Niantic doing the same, and Call of Duty saw a screen in-game as well as promises to crack down on toxic behavior. EA also introduced a program to remove and punish players who partake in toxic behavior and content.
