Humble Indie Bundle Pulls in Nearly Two Million in Profits

By Kenneth Richardson

December 27, 2010

The Humble Indie Bundle and its fabulous ‘pick your price’ promotion, in conjunction with the Child’s Play Charity, have resulted in some major fruition. The promotion closes today, so if you didn’t get to take advantage of this awesome deal then I can only sympathize with you.

Those of you that did pitch in however helped the bundle to rake in profits of over one point eight million dollars, a solid $800,000 more than the previous Humble Indie Bundle. The games were purchased 232,849 times, and the average purchase price was $7.83. A more complete breakdown of the proceeds will be revealed some time in the future. The Humble Indie Bundle is looking a lot less humble with these kinds of proceeds.
