It’s been a while since we last reported on the Humble Monthly Bundle, Humble Bundles’ monthly subscription service that offers premium mystery bundles of PC games for the affordable price point of $12. No doubt in an attempt to start 2018 off with a bang, the recently-acquired Humble Bundle has announced that January 2018’s games will include Quantum Break, The Long Dark, and Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III for anyone that pre-purchases the upcoming bundle — available now. Anyone looking to grab all those games on Steam right now would be spending $115 total.
This itself isn’t a new program — since the early days of Humble Monthly Bundle, the donation-based platform has been offering early-access to certain games for subscribers that pre-pay the following month’s cost. Once January 2018 rolls around, an additional seven (or so) games will become available for the purchaser to download.
If you are wondering where your hard earned dollars are going, 5% of all donations (so, roughly $0.60) will be going to charity: water — a charity that (as you would imagine) works towards bringing clean and safe access to water in developing countries.
Anyone interested in signing up for January 2018’s Humble Monthly Bundle (and to start playing Quantum Break) must get their donation in before January 5, 2017. Of course, anyone looking instead to make this a recurring subscription can shave up to a dollar off the (already remarkably low) purchase price.
