There is no denying that the Alien series is one of the best science fiction film franchises ever to grace us. Although there have not been that many games based on the iconic movie series, there has been a few attempts to make some game adaptions based on the Alien universe and gamers looking to try them out should consider capitalizing on Humble's new store sale.

To commemorate "Alien Day" the official Humble Bundle website is offering a slew discounts off any game or DLC add-on that pertains to the Alien films for the next two days. With up to 75% in savings, fans of the movies who have not already tried out the Alien games should certainly check this out.

Personally, one game I think everyone should consider purchasing in this sale (if they have not already of course) is Alien: Isolation which is available for $9.99 (or $12.49 if you decide to buy Alien: Isolation The Collection). Initially launching in October of 2014, Alien: Isolation is set 15 years after the events of the 1979 film, Alien and follows Amanda Ripley, the daughter of the iconic cinema heroine, Ellen Ripley who is searching for her mom.
