Crytek's latest multiplayer shooter Hunt: Showdown has been in early access for quite some time at this point but finally, the game will be exiting this phase in just a few short weeks.

As announced by Crytek today, Hunt: Showdown will officially be leaving early access next month. The game's proper 1.0 launch for both Xbox One and PC is set to occur on August 27, 2019. It will retail for $39.99 for anyone who might be looking to pick it up. If you're interested in grabbing it on PC though, you might just want to look to purchase it right now as Hunt: Showdown is currently marked down to $22.49 as part of Steam's Summer Sale.

For those looking to play on PS4, Hunt: Showdown will be coming to this platform as well, but it still doesn't have an official release date just yet. Crytek says it plans to bring Hunt: Showdown to PS4 at some point later this Fall. A more specific release date will likely arrive in the coming weeks and months, so stay tuned.

“Developing a game alongside such a passionate community has been so rewarding. It has taken us in new directions, and really inspired us to put everything we have into Hunt,” lead producer Fatih Özbayram said of leaving early access. “Now the time has come for the full release, and we couldn’t be more excited. We won’t forget the support this community has given us.”

While Hunt: Showdown will be formally launching next month, you can still get in on the action via early access right now on PC and Xbox One. Those who do play the game in early access prior to its full release will receive an exclusive legendary weapon skin come launch.
