Hunter x Hunter Universal Studios Japan first details revealed

Starting March 4, 2022, a special Hunter x Hunter attraction will be opened. In this first collaboration with Hunter x Hunter, Universal Studios Japan plans to bring high-quality ideas to "super realistically" recreate the Nen abilities of Gon, Killua, and several iconic Hunter x Hunter characters.

A key visual featuring Gon and Killua was shared as well, which you can check out featured above.

There are five franchises in total set to be gathered with the Universal Cool Japan 2022 project, and Hunter x Hunter is the first reveal. The four others will be announced in the future.

All these series are described as "popular series" so it's definitely be all anime of the same caliber. It'll be interesting to see if it'll only be classics, or if more recent popular series like Jujutsu Kaisen or Demon Slayer could get featured. I'm personally betting on a mix between the two, that way even a younger audience who might not know about older classics can still get their interest piqued.

It's also interesting to note that USJ is specifically teaming up with the Hunter x Hunter anime series rather than the original manga series. So0for the remaining four series, it's probably safe to rule out manga who didn't get a newer anime like Hunter x Hunter did.
