Hyper Scape Goes Into Open Beta Today on PC

Hyper Scape, the latest battle royale title from Ubisoft, is now available to play in an open beta beginning right now on PC.

As part of today’s Ubisoft Forward live stream, the publisher revealed that its recently unveiled battle royale title, Hyper Scape, will be launching into open beta today.

Previously only having been available as part of an initial tech test on PC, Hyper Scape will now be open for anyone on the platform to dive in. Best of all, the beta should be live as of this moment, meaning that you can start downloading it right now to play with your friends.

And if you’ve got no friends you’d like to play with, Hyper Scape will also be offering a solo game mode which will feature 100 players duking it out against one another. In addition, the 3-player squad mode that first appeared in the tech test for the game will also be making a comeback in the open beta.

As for those on console, Hyper Scape is planned to come to those platforms, just not right this moment. Ubisoft has said that the full launch for the battle royale title will arrive later this summer on not only PC, but PS4 and Xbox one, too. And while console players can’t get in on the open beta action right now, if you experience the trial on PC, your progress from the beta will then transfer over to all platforms upon the release later in the summer.
