Back in January, the peripheral gaming company, HyperX announced a new line of RGB-lit products prior to this year's CES; which included a new gaming mouse.

According to the manufacturer, the HyperX Pulsefire features a dynamic 360° RGB lighting effects and offers up to 16,000 DPI. HyperX also confirmed that the Pulsefire Surge includes natural DPI settings, allowing gamers to monitor parameters with an LED indicator. Also, the mouse utilizes NGenuity software, so users can assign up to six personalized macro functions to their liking, ranging from manipulating the colors on the mouse to reflect the in-game environment to increase overall immersion.  Other noteworthy features include the Pixart 3389 sensor, Omron switches with 50 million click reliability.

Mostly, the Pulsefire Surge is ideal for gamers who play first-person shooters and MOBAs. If you enjoy MOBAs, you’re probably looking for an ultra-high DPI so that small, quick movements will allow you to scout all four corners of the map as speedily, giving you the upper hand against your opponent. While first-person shooter gamers should consider this mouse for a decrease in hand discomfort after long gaming sessions. Of course, this mouse is also ideal for RTS, RPG, and MMO players, solely because the middle-ground DPI settings perfectly accommodate those specific genres.

You can watch a new trailer flaunting the mouse in action below this article. As mentioned earlier, the HyperX Pulsefire Surge is available now, if you are interested you can pick up the new product on Amazon.
