With maybe one of the biggest surprises of the year, Nintendo announced last week Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, a musou game that takes placed 100 years before the events of Breath of the Wild. With the latest 3D Zelda title being my favorite game of all time, I can't wait to see what the world looks like before the calamity took place. With that said, we now have a glimpse at what Hyrule Castle looks like in the upcoming game.Over on twitter,

" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">@zelda_musou posted a picture of what the iconic castle looks like. You can take a look at the attached picture below.Hyrule WarriorsI have to say, it looks incredible. I hope that we get to fight our way through massive waves of bokoblins and other enemies as we make our way toward the main chamber of the castle. One thing that has me so excited for this game even though I never played the first Hyrule Warriors is that the game looks just like Breath of the Wild. That game has my favorite overworld of any game. Now we might get to explore what it looked like before the calamity took place? Sign me up. Hyrule in Breath of the Wild had some fantastic environmental storytelling and a game that will connect the narrative with the environment has me enthralled. I know that this won't be an open exploration game, but I am just happy to exist in that overworld again.Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is set to release on November 20 for Nintendo Switch.
