Hey folks, it's that time of the month again, Nintendo randomly dropped a new Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase out of nowhere, most notably revealing Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is getting a demo. That's not so much of a surprise when remembering games by Koei Tecmo regularly gets demos like this. Still, it really did drop unannounced, besides players noticing a new ad on the Eshop claiming a demo was available.

The demo lets you play through all of Chapter One of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, and your save data will be transferable to the full game. Note that we've already seen part of the first chapter of the game with previous gameplay videos. It's when Link first meets with Impa.

You can check additionnal details on the game with profiles for rerutning characters such as the King of Hyrule, Hestu and Kohga, followed by Robbie and Purah. The demo only covers the beginning of the game, but the gameplay from Tokyo Game Show 2020 showed some parts a few chapters later, you can watch that here. The game's staff is also really happy with fan reactions so far.
