We have already seen two previous character highlight trailers from Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition, and now, it's time for a third.

This time around, we get a chance to look back at the beloved Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker and its colorful cast of characters amidst the Great Sea. Set to the tones of a blend Wind Waker's main theme courtesy of a certain violin and harp, we are introduced first to Toon Link fighting the Helmaroc King. He's accompanied by a wide arsenal of tools, including his sword and his train from his later incarnation in Spirit Tracks.

Next up, we get to see sassy pirate Tetra showcase her scimitar and trident skills against a group of baddies, alongside a certain golden light attack of the triangular variety. Is it spoilers if the game's been out for sixteen years?

We also get to see action from Medli, the lovable Rito sage, who shows off her powerful wing attacks and harp playing skills. She is then followed up by definitely-not-a-boat King Daphnes of Old Hyrule who has the ability to summon a sail and turn into a boa... oh hey, they spoiled it themselves. Okay. Tetra is Zelda by the way, if you didn't catch that.

With another quirky cast of characters showcased, thus ends our third Character Highlight TrailerHyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition will be releasing for the Switch on May 18, 2018. It will feature a roster of over 25 characters both old and new, so fans of the series can look forward to the game’s release on the Switch soon.
