Released in 2014 on the Wii U, the long-waited Hyrule Warriors brought together the worlds of Dynasty Warriors and The Legend of Zelda in a unique and action-packed way, and the title is now bringing the action in a new release on the Nintendo Switch this coming spring.

During today's Nintendo Direct Mini, Nintendo revealed that Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition will be heading to the Nintendo Switch in Spring 2018 and bringing over the acclaimed action title from the Wii U and 3DS to the Switch early this year.

Specifically, the Switch version will bring over all 29 playable characters across both the Wii U and 3DS editions of the game, along with all previous downloadable content that was released after the game's launch on those systems. However, the Switch version will also include some brand new content in the form of new outfits based on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for both Link and Zelda.
