I Dare You to Not Buy Serious Sam: Double D After Watching This Video

As if August wasn’t amazing enough, we got word today that Mommy’s Best Games’ entry into the Serious Sam Indie Series, Serious Sam: Double D, would be hitting digital distribution platforms on the PC on August 30th for the amazing price of $7.99. Double D might not seem like a big deal for you guys, but after seeing it at E3, I will guarantee that it’ll be one of the most talked-about indie games of the year.

Beyond the other insane stuff piled into the game, the main attraction is the gunstacking gameplay mechanic. You can stack multiple guns on each other to create a death device that’d make any psychopath giggle like a schoolgirl. That’s not enough to sway you? Check out the video after the jump; I challenge you not to think it’s amazeballs.

That is seriously one of the greatest promotional videos I’ve seen this year. I was already massively hyped for Double D, but now I’m even more pumped up. We’ll have a review for you guys early next week, so keep on the lookout for that.

Allen is an utter whore of a gamer; he's completely open-minded to all games, be they AAA blockbusters or $5 casual children's games. His focus is on indie games specifically, valuing gameplay and ingenuity over sparkly visuals and ridiculous gimmicks. When he's not geeking out over the newest art game, he's out toning his sexy, sculpted shoulders while surfing epic 1.5ft waves, or having a good time with local, high-gravity microbrews.
