I Was Right About Nintendo's 3DS Warning

Last week Nintendo issued a warning to parents about the 3DS possibly being harmful to their children’s vision. Soon after that, professional eye doctors disputed their claims with actual evidence involving monkeys. I posited that Nintendo were probably just trying to cover themselves in the event of a lawsuit and my boy Iwata backs me up (via Andriasang).

In an interview with the Japanese version of the Wall Street Journal, Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata said the 3DS warnings were to “give its customers adequate information and protect against lawsuits.”

In other news, I’m a brilliant marketing analyst. Give me a job, Nintendo.
