Ico and Shadow of the Colossus are widely regarded as some of the most unique games ever created. We’ve known for a while that Fumito Ueda and Sony were working on an HD remake of these classic titles, which were actually supposed to release this Spring. Unfortunately, they were pushed back, but now they have a new release date in Japan – September 22, 2011. Along with that, a trailer has been sent out showing off the differences between the original PlayStation 2 version of the games and the newly remastered PlayStation 3 versions.

This collection also comes in a limited edition boxed set which has a few extra goodies. I’m sure we will be seeing these remastered titles in the U.S. at some point. Let’s hope more people appreciate them and buy them this time around. Continue reading for the trailer.
