Bandai Namco released today a new trailer of the upcoming mainline The Idolmaster game The Idolmaster: Stella Stage.

The trailer launched today features one of the most popular idols of the series, Hibiki Ganaha, singing “Brand New Day.” On top of this, another trailer was released a few days ago, featuring another of the game’s idols, Yayoi Takatsuki.

The Idolmaster: Stella Stage. marks the second mainline game of the series after The Idolmaster: Platinum Stars, and comes with a lot of new features, including a coaching menu that lets players unlock abilities for the girls via a Monopoly-style board.

The new “Time Off” feature allows you to give some free time to the idols, letting them recover from fatigue and perform better on stage, and also showing off some cute scenes of their life outside work.

You can enjoy the trailers below, and if you want to see more, you can also check out a look at the first screenshots, and the introduction of the new idol Shika, from rival Production company 961.

The game will release in Japan on December 21st, exclusively for PS4. As usual, a western release is quite unlikely due to song licensing, but we shouldn’t lose hope.
