If You've Somehow Managed to Avoid Playing Chrono Trigger Until Now ...

Remember Giuseppe warning you about Chrono Trigger‘s impending iOS release yesterday? Well, one of the most popular RPGs ever released hit the Mac App Store today for the iPhone. The man is right: Anyone who’s ever enjoyed games should play Chronon Trigger at least once in their life, if for nothing else to avoid ridicule in gaming message boards.

The iOS version of the game includes all the features from the DS port, so you’re definitely getting your money’s worth for $9.99. And if you’re worried about controls translating properly to the touch screen, fear not: If Final Fantasy III could pull it off, Chrono Trigger certainly can.

If for some reason you own an iPhone and don’t pick this up, I’m sure you’ll have another opportunity when Square-Enix releases on the next big platform.
