If you've been lucky enough to watch Spider-Man: No Way Home Already, there may have been a few moments of confusion for you, especially if you've not had time to catch up on the previous Spider-Man movies.

One of these moments, which likely had the whole cinema chuckling, is a line uttered by Normal Osborn (Green Goblin), in which he exclaims "You know, I'm something of a scientist myself."

If you aren't too familiar with the famous line or exactly what it means, let's dive in and take a look!

What Does The Quote "I'm something of a scientist myself" Mean in Spider-Man No Way Home

This quote is actually a little throwback/easter egg to the original 2002 version of Spider-Man.

In a scene with Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire), Norman Osborn and his son, Harry Osborn (James Franco), Norman is introduced to Peter.

Norman states that he has heard that Peter is "quite the science whizz" before exclaiming, "You know, I'm something of a scientist myself."

Over the last few years, the clip has become somewhat of a meme around the internet, with jokers explaining that they are "something of a scientist" themselves when completing menial tasks, such as connecting the Wifi to their PC. You can check out the best ones at this link.

It's this throwback to the original movie, plus the recent memeification of it that is what drew a likely reaction from the moviegoing audience.
