League of Legends frenzy is all over right now with the imminent World Championship 2014 starting today, and last year's breakout band Imagine Dragons is joining in the celebration with a brand new song and music video to accompany the epic competition.

The new song, titled "Warrior," is accompanied by an animated music video to kick off the League of Legends World Championship in pretty stellar style, with developer Riot Games mentioning in a statement:

"The battle begins, and sixteen teams across the globe are fighting towards one goal – to win the League of Legends World Championship. To kick off the start of the action, we set out to craft a war cry to rally behind in a creative collaboration with Imagine Dragons. Whether you’re a solo queue warrior or fighting off the LCS jitters – every moment counts."

Riot Games CEO and co-founder Brandon Beck mentioned that the collaboration grew out of the band's love for the game, with many of its members at Level 30, and that the band took time out of working on its upcoming album to create the song specifically for the event.

The League of Legends World Championship 2014 starts today, September 18th, 2014 and runs until October 19th in group competition, until two finalists will compete for the title in Seoul, South Korea.
