Yesterday, Ubisoft officially unveiled the new name to Gods & Monsters with a more in-depth look at its gameplay. Immortals: Fenyx Rising is another open-world action-adventure from Ubisoft that has so many similarities with Assassin's Creed Odyssey, at least in world design.

Set in the fantasy world of Greek Mythology, you will find yourself playing as Fenyx, a shipwrecked Greek warrior who is the only hope of Gods for defeating Typhon, a deadly demonic Titan. You will have the ability to fully customize Fenyx before beginning your journey in the gorgeous lands of ancient Greece.

If you've already played Assassin's Creed Odyssey, you've probably familiar with some of the characters and locations in Immortals: Fenyx Rising. That being said, Immortals is supposed to be a much deeper experience in Greek Mythology rather than Odyssey.

Thanks to the gameplay walkthrough, we get to have a look at Fenyx's movement and combat abilities. Aside from the skills for climbing up different walls and cliffs, you can also fly over the world, which is a faster way of transporting. In addition to the game's primary world, there are also a number of underworld locations, which you can jump into through some certain holes on the map.

By stepping into the world of Typhon, you will face various puzzles and platforming challenges. After you passed through them, you will get to achieve the trapped bolts of Zeus from the underworld, which will aid you to upgrade your skills and get some new abilities.
