Almost a year ago, Impact Winter was released on PC, with the promise that the game would be coming to consoles in the months ahead. Now, after months and months of no news about the latter, developer Mojo Bones and publisher Bandai Namco officially announced that the game would be making it's way to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in exactly two weeks, on April 5, 2018.

In addition to the announcement of the console release date, it was also revealed that players who purchase the game on PlayStation 4 will receive an Impact Winter dynamic theme completely free of additional charge, although it was not revealed whether this would be available to everyone or only those who pre-order.

For those that don't know, Impact Winter puts players in the role of a man named Jacob Soloman, the leader of a group of people trying to survive a harsh winter after an asteroid crashed into Earth, wiping out most of humanity.

Impact Winter was originally released on PC on May 22, 2017.
