During the "The Future of Xbox" panel at San Diego Comic Con Forza Motorsport 5 Game Director Dan Greenawalt shared a small but juicy detail for those that will play the game using the new controller of the Xbox One.

The individual rumble motors built in the triggers of the controller will provide feedback on the performance and grip of the tires, giving players a better feeling of braking and cornering. This is actually quite relevant, as this kind of feedback was normally a rather radical advantage exclusive to players using a wheel with separate motors, like the ones by Fanatec for instance.

I'll still continue to use a wheel, of course, as most self-respecting racing game enthusiasts will do, but those that can't afford or don't want one definitely have a reason to celebrate this new feature, as it'll help them quite a lot in taming the most powerful and tail-happy rides.
