In Proun, You Race On a Tubeworm Through Post-Modern Art

At least, that’s what it looks like. Proun is a tube-racing title developed by Joost van Dongen, the dude with the manliest name ever, and it looks absolutely gorgeous. The goal is to race along the tube while avoiding abstract obstacles along the way, and it all looks so therapeutic and relaxing, I can’t help but stare at the screenshots in awe. Hit the jump for a trailer highlighting these obstacles.

If that sound design is indicative of what’ll be in the final game, sign me the hell up. Proun will be available on the PC sometime this spring.

Allen Park

Allen is an utter whore of a gamer; he's completely open-minded to all games, be they AAA blockbusters or $5 casual children's games. His focus is on indie games specifically, valuing gameplay and ingenuity over sparkly visuals and ridiculous gimmicks. When he's not geeking out over the newest art game, he's out toning his sexy, sculpted shoulders while surfing epic 1.5ft waves, or having a good time with local, high-gravity microbrews.
