Today Level-5 published a new trailer for Inazuma Eleven Ares no Tenbin, the latest game in the series where soccer is ultimate power, even used by aliens.

As far as I know, it's actually the first time we see some gameplay in action. Inazuma Eleven Ares still is the same as the other games in the series, a mix of soccer, RPG and real-time strategy. It's very similar to the Captain Tsubasa RPG games if you've played that in the past, except a rank or two higher in the over-the-top scale, which is something, considering how over-the-top Captain Tsubasa already is.

The game is currently playable at PlayStation Festival events in Japan. The next ones will be held at Sendai on November 25th and Sapporo on December 22nd.

Inazuma Eleven Ares is supposed to release for PS4 and Switch on Winter 2019. There's an iOS version and an Android version coming too. The game was supposed to release this summer, but was delayed along with Yo-kai Watch 4.

To give you an idea of how late Inazuma Eleven Ares is compared to its initial announcement, the anime adaptation tie-in has already finished airing in Japan, and another season has started right after in October: Inazuma Eleven Orion no Kokuin. Usually, the Inazuma Eleven anime seasons always start before their games release, but as far as I know,  it's the first time an Inazuma Eleven game will release when its anime is already over.
