Indie Titles Getting Major Attention in Playstation Store

To continue their support of Indie titles, Sony is introducing an “Indie” category to the Playstation Store.

Announced via the Playstation Blog, Sony looks to celebrate their exemplary Indie titles like Unfinished Swan, Journey, Guacamelee, and Thomas Was Alone.

To go along with this new initiative, Sony will also be offering special deals (with new deals on select titles arriving each week):

  • Retro City Rampage: 50% discount to all from May 7th to May 21st
  • Papo & Yo promotional bundle containing the soundtrack and game: 40% discount (55% for PlayStation Plus subscribers) from May 7th to May 21st
  • Zombie Tycoon II: Free for PlayStation Plus subscribers for a limited time
